17's are pretty much the max for a Neon with stock suspension...
18's are gonna be problems...and especialy with the 42 off-set...yer goin the wrong way, that's gonna bring the wheels in closer to al the suspension components...
any 18's usually means customizing suspension parts, or adding spacers, and other problematic things

Default Torque

Overall, what is the best rim size to have for handling and accelerating? 16"s, 17"s, or stock 15"s? The SRT-4 comes stock with 17"s so it seems right that they would have the pest performance. Then again, car companies just like to show off sometimes.

I want something lightweight so it actually has a purpose and spins quicker, but would 17"s throw off handling or slow down acceleration?
