Default Weird Radio/Speaker Problem

Ok so one last problem and hopefully I'll be done. Basically my radio works and my dash speakers work but other than that my rear and door speakers do not work at all. I've looked at all the wires I can find and they seem to be good. Hopefully this is just a problem with my radio because I'm putting in a CD player soon but if not I guess I'll have to buy an amp and some speakers.

Anyone got any ideas on the possible problems or fixes? I find it hard to believe all 4 speakers are blown. These cars don't have an external amplifier do they???

They do not have an external amp. the dash speakers are connected with the door speakers. so the must be a cut in the line somewhere. just my guess. G/L

Just replace the speakers when you replace the radio. You'll be glad you did.

Already got 6x9s on the way. Just was hoping I could wait a little while for the fronts. And I was hoping it was just a speaker or radio problem and not a wiring one cuz i really don't want to buy an amp and run speaker wire everywhere.

You don't have to run an amp to all of the speakers if you don't want to. Simply wiring up speakers isn't too bad, especially if you are already going half way on replacing the equipment.
