My 2004 sxt neon stick is makeing this weird whisling sound as a release the clutch and also does it when im coasting around 2000 rpm's. Does anybody have any coments, suggestions.

 

That does not sound too good. I would bring it to the dealer and see what they say.

 

mine does that occasionly, while the engine is warming up... I'm not sure what it is. But it doesn't seem to hurt anything

 

do u have a short ram air intake because if u just hit the gas a little it will whisle

 

Its your throttle body b/c of the EGR it does this whistling noise......when air is pulled in. If you run an open throttle body you will hear it more so. But its not a bad thing......everyone asks me if I have a turbo i think its funny.........

 

yea they ask me also because of the noise .These kids out here think they know everything bout cars then ask us a stupid question like that u think that if we had turbo they would hear the blowoff valve over the whisling.
