kk went and pulled a p0340 from my car so i bought and replace the camshaft pos. sensor took me all of 20 min. sad part is that it didnt work... i drive a 04 neon r/t 5 speed manual sexy beast of a neon. any clues to what else it could be? i have loss of all power at random times. and an overall loss of acceleration. what do i lookfor when trying to find shorts or ground or what else could it be? ty for checking this out!

 

I have a 04 sxt. i had a problem with acceleration loss and power loss as well. at that point my car was sputtering. odly enough, when i took it in they said it just needed a tune up. changed the spark plugs and changed the oil, and it was running just fine. you may also want to check your tansaxel. i know when it was cold out and i would floor it, it would not do anything for a second, than it would shift either too soon or too late. i wouldnt know what else it would be.
