Question SRT exhaust on my 04 Neon SE?

hey guys i was wondering if i could bolt on the rear section of the srt4 exhaust to my magnaflow exhaust thats already on my vehicle? i just want something louder with a louder pop and backfire. my set up right now is a header leading to a flex pipe with no cat, down to a magnaflow resinator, then the dual tip muffler. I think i could just unbolt the muffler and replace it with the stock srt4 pipe, size permitting.
Thanks, any response would be great.

Alrthough it would sound good it will hurt performance, leave the muffler on. N/A motors need back pressure, a straight through exhaust system on them allow no back pressure. When I had my SXT I have a straight throw muffler one it, sounded good but when I replaced it with a dual exit flow master I picked up power due to proper back pressure. If you want your car louder think about getting a 2 chamber flowmaster dual exit its louder then a magnaflow I believe, its the same muffler that your get for the cameros and firebirds the newer models. But if you do get it as soon as its on, get on it and there is a plate on the flowmasters that will bend inside and cause it to be louder then not having that plate bent. Do you have mendrel bend tubing of regular crimp bend?

Nice, yea if you want louder go with a flowmaster 2 chamber, like I said just go WOT after the install to bend down that plate. It sounds awesome, and with your resonator it will sound deep and mean I bet

my magnaflow system is pissing me off. i was talking to one of my co workers about how my muffler rattles when i get on it or rev it up. We both think i either blew out a baffle in the magnaflow muffler, or the resinator. I checked magnaflows website for warranty returns, and it seems i can return it, but i cant go without a muffler for long. Anyways, i just dont know what the rattle is, and i just thought i should get rid of the muffler, and go w/srt section, but now I know I shouldn't.
