Default trouble with torx bolt removal

Does anyone know of a easy way to get a t55 torx bolt off of a 2000 neon, I have tried everything short of an air compressor tool but it just won't budge. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Try liquid wrench, let it soak overnight. It should come loose if its not stripped. If so, pliers, drill, torch.

Trying to get the back seat bolts out? They're on there good...but you just have to really torque on it. You can try some liquid wrench or something similar for loosening bolts. I've also heard that heating bolts up helps a bit, although I've never tried that. I haven't had a problem breaking bolts loose. Get a longer wrench or put extensions on the socket if you can, so you have more torque.

the easiest way to get them out is to spray them up with wd-40 or liquid wrench and then use an impact driver to losen them so you can take them out... i had this problem with mine and i didn't do that and i stripped the head on one... talk about a bitch to replace.... the reason why they are so tight is beacuse they air gun them on at the factory because they are what hold the seat belts down. and over time rust builds up on the threads due to moisture and the weather.

Thanks, I'll try it, but it isn't for the seatbelts, it's for the belt tensioner bracket, the bolt is located behind the front passenger wheel under the rubber protective cap. (where the car is grounded to).

thanks for all your help.

If something is really tight, actually retighten it first. Helps break any corrosion in the threads. Then back it out again. Best penetrating oil I have tried so far is KROIL. CanoLabs. It is great. Longer you have to soak the better. May also have threadlock on the bolts which makes it even worse. Also if you have not tried long handle ratchets or breake bars help alot too. Not just a standard craftsman.
