Remove the stock unit, and replace with the new unit. Very self explanatory. Want a tip? Make sure the clamp/coupler around the throttle body secure. Not loose. Give yourself an an hour or two and make it happen. You tube might even have a video for reference.

well, if it is a true CAI, and not a short ram inatke.... yer right, and the most of the hour is gonna be getting the air cleaner and tubing mounted inside and behind the drivers side fender and bumper cover.
The under the hood stuff is easy. remove the stock air box and tighten on the intake tube.
I got a short ram intake and thats all I had to do. didn't have to delve into getting behind the front fender and bumper cover.

..and yea I know, the short ram is just drawing hot air in from under the hood... but I don't have any real high performance engine mods and have been running it for almost 2 years, thru winter snow and summer heat, with no problems at all...and I get a nice sound from it.

depending on how much u know about cars. it can be as easy as 1 hour maybe less. what brand did u go with and please dont tell me u got it from ebay ?

theres nothing wrong with the ebay ones, its just that u gotta attach a better filter to those things because the ones they come with suck

steps include. removing stock air box pieces from inner fender wall then installing new intake tubes wich is the easy part. ill try to find a how to for it and show ya how its done.

the ebay filter does a bad job of filtering out road debris and every other little particle thats too small to see by eye. a AEM or K & N filter work best at filtering out debris and not letting them in.
