My 2001 Neon has been making a lot of noise lately. Mostly a cracking or popping noise usually when turning. What should I look for when I get under there? The brakes are squeaky too but they work just fine.

Any suggestion would be appreciated

Mine is also making a loud creaking noise while turning. I think I need new ball joint boots and some greasing of them. They got over tightened when I was putting everything back together and the boots got crushed. Those and something else got overtightened. Can't remember now.
