hello all i'm looking at putting on a turbo with 5 to 10 psi boost nothing big but would like to know what i need and what to look for on getting started. and where do i go to get the ecu reprogramed for the turbo and i would like to have it setup to have it on or not on i only want the turbo on wile i track and not on wile on street . i was thinking on a rear turbo hook up to . wile on the rear turbo mount have a split valve with a switch on it . i'm looking on doing this this winter so it is ready for 2010

 

I can just stop you right there, the turbo does not regulate the amount of boost it generates, This topic of turbo'ing the neon has been beaten and revived and ran over and crapped upon... to which this has been created

as far as switching a turbo and having it located on the rear, I believe the setup for the Mazda 6 turbo uses it located near the muffler, don't quote me on that and switching it you would need a setup such as an electric cut out but instead of just opening the exhaust you would have it channeled to a separate arrangement leading the turbo to power it...

Turbo'ing the neon is a challenge for most people even with the knowledge... there is a parts list and everything in the link above
