Car "stumbles"
Just a note for ya on the stock plugs. Mopar recommended change intervals is 30K. So hitting it at 28K is not unusual. NGK makes great plugs though. All those jap cars use them and even the jap versions of mopar engines from the diamond star thing used them while Chrysler stuck with Champion.
Ran them in several cars and they are a little weird. Did try Denso Iridium once and the are Real Nice and so is the price. Milage did nothing but idle was great till I mushed my car. Idel was real smooth. Newer jap cars like the Lexus are using them (not as fine wire) as factory installed. I don't think anyone uses them +4's. Regular platinums are good but I don't like hiding my spark with 4 ground electrodes.
I have a 2001 sohc neon @ 36000 miles it started missing like a bandit from idle to about 2800. Took it to Dodge dealer. they gave a $700+ laundry list of things they thought it needed. so i told them i just wanted it to run better. mechanic takes over away from teh service manger and tells me to put in new original plugs. after i had thet injectors power flushed--installed new plug wires--put in and took out +4 platinum plugs I put inregular pltinum plugs it ran fine only after changing to the regular platinum---they lasted about 1000 miles and went south also--installed regular champion cooper plugs and ta da!!! it ryuns better than ever.
yeh the simple things make all the difference... i never buy those expensive plugs... just cuz they cost alot don't mean they are good. i find the NGK plugs work great and they are cheap enough that i can afford to replace them every couple thousand miles.... with the more expensive ones you tend to wait longer.
ORIGINAL: casper
I have the +4 and have had them in for 15,000 miles and not a problem.

replace with NGK V-powers, and be happy
also, i had the +4s in mine for a while too (before i knew about em) and i noticed the idle was a tad rough. replaced em with champions (before champs starting having problems with their plugs) and the idle smoothed out, and power felt better in all rpm. and no, the +4s that i took out werent old, they were brand new!! (less than 1k miles on them. there were +4s in the car when i bought it too, and even those had a slightly rough idle)
