I'm trying to remove my door panels and I can't figure out how to disconnect those metal rods from the latch that opens the door. I don't want to break anything so I'm looking for the easiest way to do this. It's basically 2 metal rods that I need to disconnect.

 

The white plastic needs to be unsnapped from the silver rod, then you can drop the the silver rod out, The white plastic will unsnap from the rod and turn a quarter turn

Did you get the panel off?

 

Yea it was a huge pain but I got it. Those rods are in there tight.
