Default Suspension upgrade

I have a 2002 Neon Le, with no rear sway bar and the car has too much body roll and under-steer! I heard from a buddy that a PT cruiser stocks, springs and sway bars would fit the neon. Can a PT cruiser suspension be put into the neon and would it be a good upgrade? The reason I am asking is because another friend of mine has a PT cruiser and is welling to sell me the suspension, dirt cheap!

I am not sure if it will fit. I would stick with stuff that is meant for a neon. Eibach are good. I don't like being the 1st to try somethin, I like stuff that is proven and tested.

I have the eibach setup...it is very good. The car holds like glue...and I'm on skinny tires that don't grip very well. I took one of those circle highway on ramps at 75....and for your reference the speed limit on the highway is 70....so I was breaking the law on the on ramp!!!! LMAO. I have the eibach anti roll kit and lowering springs. It is a very good setup. The anti roll kit comes with everything you need to do it. 24mm bar up front and a 22mm in the back. Body roll and understeer are very much improved. Not much body roll and little to no understeer.

Yeah either research and see if anyone else has done it and how good it worked or go aftermarket. In my opinion I'd go for after market, it's better and I would want something brand new, not used

Hey man, A PT Cruiser has a solid rear suspension. A Neon has an Independent rear suspension. A PT does not. It wouldnt work. A neon has struts, A PT has springs and shocks... Good idea but dont think its possible. Just put a sway bar kit on it... [sm=vader.gif]
