Exclamation Help with code P2096....

Everytime i step on the gas to run faster it kinda makes a weird sound... and it doesn't go faster. I got the computer checked and says two codes P2096 and the other one says might be the thermostat or low coolant... it's a 2005 dodge neon SXT Special Edition... I was thinking that theres this part where the air intaker is... its made of aluminium and its stick to the air intaker, I don't know what the name is, but then they told me it might be the 02 sensor... I don't know what to do...

please help!

thanks!

That code means your downstream o2 sensor is reading lean. Could be a bad sensor or good me as easy as a exhaust leak by the cat.

Have you done anything recently to the exhaust?

Well, a while back I took it to this place and they changed it... I don't think they really did a good job... but that was like 7 months ago... it was always runing good... till I had a problem with the injectors and I had them change them... 350dlls just for that... If I knew it was that, i would have done it myself! ugh... but any way... now im having that problem that when I step on the gas it sounds both weird on the cat and where the intaker is...
