i recently just curbed my car and when i got home looked at my tire there is a small chunk of rubber missing from the sidewall maybe 1" long 1" wide and maybe .3" deep should i replace the tire or would it be good for a little bit? cause i have to make a 300KM trip this weekend and want to know before i head out. there are no belts showing or leaking air. if you need pictures i will be able to post them in a bit

 

Go to a tire shop and get their opinion. --> Hard to say without actually seeing it though. If it is as bad as it sounds (the size), I'd replace it. Better safe than sorry.

 

the tire shop said it should be ok until i replace them with my winter tires i just dont want to spend the money on a new tire if im changing them in 2 weeks.
