wednesday i filled my gas tank all the way and reseted the tripometer like i always do. now today im down to about a half tank of gas and i check the tripometer and its only 47miles? now, im the only one who drives my car, so no one couldve resetted it. so how the hell am i only getting about 10 mpg? i dont drive with a heavy foot or anything either. also, someone told me it could be that my vapor hose/line is bad. would that cause my bad gas milage?

oh yea, i drive an 04 sxt atx with intake, headers, 2.5in piping and r/t exhaust.

 

is your check engine light on? noticed a lack of performance lately?
is your gas guage just reading inaccurately?

 

Did you **** someone off? Maybe someone stole your gas....lol. That woud be sad...but gas around here is up to almost 2.5 for regular.

 

I would bring it to the dealer and tell them, its still under warenty.

 

it is over that here. cost me $26 this morning to fill it up. 10.?? gallons. My eyes just went hella wide.

with these prices I can see someone steeling gas. need to invest in a locking gas cap

 

no check engine light or anything. but my car does seem a bit quieter now and seems like its missing some power.

i was really starting to think that someone was stealing my gas too, but ive been keep track of where the gauge needle is when i start the car up and when i shut it off.

ill take it to the dealer tomorrow and let you knwo whats goin on.
