Stereo Install
This is a stupid question I'm sure...... I have an '03 Neon SXT and want to remove my factory Stereo, but can't see how the dash comes apart. I pplayed around with it a bit, and it seems like the colormatched plastic surround might just pry off, but I don't want to snap it. Has anyone here installed a stereo themselves and know how to get the stereo out? Thanks.
Also, I am trying to figure out how to replace the 6X9's in the back window. How do you get to them?
I see postings for the front door panels, so I won't even ask about those. Thanks.

RE: Stereo Install
the dash trim snaps off but at the top you will need to pop your a/c vents out and there are 2 screws...1 in each place were the vents were then you have 4 more screws holding the stereo in place unscrew them and your good to go oh and by the way when you takin the trim out keep a look out for your a/c ***** because they fly off once you take it off..., and yes you can get to your 6x9's from the trunk, Chris

To get to the 6x9's do you actually have to pull the back seats out or does that carpet on the rear deck come up? I want to take out my stocks and replace them.
I popped out the plastic seatbelt brackets on the top from in the trunk by pushing them out. Then started to pull the carpet up on the rear deack while sitting in the rear seats but it didn't seem to want to come up. I stopped because I didn't want to break anything.
