Hey guys as my name says i am a potential neon guy looking for some help. Right now i am in the J-body scene with a done up sunfire gt, was looking at a potentional turbo setup when my buddy told me he has a 2001 neon with a blown motor and I realized my uncle has a 1989 plymouth acclaim with a rebuilt 2.5L turbo motor but the body is crap. So i was wandering if anyone can answer my question of can that engine be put into the 2001 shell? if possible then i think i have my new car but looking for a some knowledgeable opinions on this one as to whether its worth it or not and how difficult it is

It can be done but it is NOT a bolt in/plug and play deal. Not to mention not being emissions legal
