Does anyone know what size the nut is on the rear wheel spindle on a 2000 neon?

My biggest socket is 11/8 an it's just slightly too small, so looks like i'm going to have to buy a new addition to my socket set, just need to know what size.

you mean the axle nut? if so i think its like a 28mm or 30mm. not completely sure as i haven't had a neon for some time now.

 

I think it would have to be bigger than 30mm because i tried an 11/8 socket on it and it wouldn't fit over the nut and 11/8 is bigger than 30mm.

I think it might be 35mm?

Get a caliper and measure it.

All rear spindle nuts are 30mm.
