ok so I have a silver 05 neon. I have a guy that is willin to sell me a set of srt 4 rims. Im going to buy new tires for them 205/40R17 wheres the stock srt rims are 205/50R17 but i read that the stock size does not fit a 2nd gen neon. so the questions I have are:
1) would a 205/40R17 tire last as long as a stock 175/70R14 stock neon tire?
2) what would be the differences in performance?
3) how do you think it would look n do u guys hhave any pics of neons with srt4 rims?

1) depends how you drive and brand..some brands last alot longer than others..
2) might be slower off the line takes just a bit longer to get a 17" around then a 14" (not a big diff if your stock)
3) they look good alot of guys have them on their cars..google it im sure u will find some

k I guess my main question now is would a 205/40/17 all season tire be as good in snow or rain as a stock all season would be

 

some people have to sets of rims/tires a set for summer/spring and a set for fall/winter where it snows..so you dont ruin your nice srt4 rims
