Default Rattling E-brake driving me nuts!

I just need to know if there's any way to fix my rattly e-brake. Every time the car is idling the damn brake handle just rattles like crazy. Its a metallic rattling, most likely the mechanical components inside. If I put my hand on it or touch the button it stops. There has got to be a way to fix this- has anyone else had this problem?

Take the center console off and check to see that everything is tightened under there. That's where I would start.

Neons are unbelievably agile in the snow! That's been my experience the past 2 winters, anyway. Last year my old 99 was one of the only cars NOT getting stuck in the snow, and same with my 05 this year. I did get stuck on my neighbor's lawn a few nights ago(don't ask), but was able to get out through immaculately-timed rocking & gunning. Boy, you should see their yard though

Yeah I checked all the nuts & bolts, and there appears to be some rattly parts in the brake mechanism itself.

The spot I got stuck in was a little strip of yard between out driveways. It was a bit of a dip, and a bunch of ice chunks got stuck up under my car. I made some nice holes in the yard, lol...
