I have a 2004 Neon SXT Automatic with 53,056 miles. About two weeks ago, the red oil pressure light came on, flashed for a few seconds and then went away.

The situation repeated itself today. I had an oil change and filter done at the dealership a few months ago and the dipstick is still reading full.
No sign of leaks either! What is going on here !

Most likely a bad sensor. They are around $12 from the dealer. Get that and a 1 1/16" deep socket and change it out.
