i have heard some vehicles have 2 mileage sensors... apperently there is another sensor in the tranny that can be read if the car is plugged into the computer to see if the milage on the speedometer is correct is there any truth to this...

Yes I believe that is correct. However I believe its stored in the pcm possibly...and I believe only a dealer could check something like that.

 

what is the pcm stand for?
