Hey everyone a newbie to the forums here,
I am getting a CEL with the code P0128 and i have already replaced the thermostat and put a new radiator cap on. The heat barely worked before now it works great after the thermostat replacement. The car doesnt overheat, and didnt prior to replacing the thermostat. However the check engine light is still on. My father and I are completely stumped on what to do next. The only thing we can think to do is to replace the Engine Coolant temperature sensor but were not sure if we are overlooking something. The coolant levels are fine and i flushed the system when we replaced the thermostat. Maybe it was a faulty thermostat but were getting heat so i doubt it is that. If anyone has any ideas or expierence with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Did you reset the CEL? If not pull the battery cable drive it for 15-20 min's and see if comes back on. If it does not you have fixed it.

If you don't reset the computer it can take up to 50 Starts before the computer feels like checking it agina.
