It's not a deep clunking noise, it's more of a popping noise kind of like ball joints but I all ready have checked those numerous times. I am going to replace the sway bar bushings just for giggles, does anyone know the diameter of the bar on a 2003 SE?

There is a replacement part for them. You don't need to measure and buy universals. Just find the factory replacement piece for the SE model. As for the ball joints, how are you checking them. Just visually?

No I did the 6 and 12 test and checked the Zerk for any looseness which is sometimes the Chrysler test for ball joints. And my model Neon comes with 20 inch or 22 inch sway so I'm trying to determine which one it is.

You have the same year and model as me. There is one sway bar. A 20MM (not inches, BTW). Both Prothane and Energy Suspension list a 20MM. I bought the 20MM bushings and they fit like a glove.

The inches was a minor lapse in thought, and thanks for the info you have the SE trim right? I'll get the stuff for the sway and let yall know how it works. I might get the brackets with the zerks on them but I'm not sure yet.

Yes, all SE...FTL, lol. The problem with the universal bushings, especially the ones with the zerk fittings that you don't need, is the Neon bushings are round. It would literally be like trying to fit a square into a circle. They wouldn't mount up correctly.
