cluster swap

Default cluster swap

hey guys, i have a 2002 neon. i would like to swap the cluster and put a 2003 white face cluster with a tech. my neon dont have a tech. i enjoy the car handles fine runs good. and i drive on the road alot so a tech would add to my fun. my question is will the swap work or do i need to modify some thing on the dash or is it a stright bolt on. can any one help???

just a plug and play.... only thing to check is for milage, the milage is programed into the cluster so the milage will not go to the new cluster, but what is stored to the "new cluster"

If the "new" cluster has less miles on it than your "old" one though, the dealer should be able to up the mileage to make it correct if you want to go that route. They won't turn back miles though, for obvious reasons.

thanks you guys for the feedback. i just want to make a small correction the cluster is from a 05 not a 03. sorry for the type o... well i will keep you guys up to date on the cluster swap. wish me luck!!!!

thanks for the tips fit like a glove. no problems. i thought there would be a problem with the dash being a from a 05. the only thing i did is rest the car computer by doing the battery thing. not sure if that help, but did it any way.... looks very cool. it does add fun to driving. now i have a idea on how the engine responding
