Question 01 Front bumper removal. Please help.

Hello,
Before Im yelled at please know that I did search for over an hour through google and this website. Although I found many posts about removing the bumper, none were very helpful or descriptive. Every other car Ive worked on Ive been able to find a forum post with step by step instructions and illustrations for just about anything you can think of. However, Ive had little success with pulling that off with this neon. Either people say to get the haynes manual or they give like 3 sentences on what to do.

Please, if anyone has pictures or a more in-depth description on the removal of a 2001 plymouth neon front bumper I would greatly appreciate the help.

I replaced the headlights recently and noticed there were bolts behind them connected to the bumper. Im figuring those need to come out, and I had heard there were screws in the wheel well area? After that Im pretty clueless on where to go.

Please help!

Thank you,
JB

There's like 2 screws on the front side edge of the wheel wells that connect to the bumper. Torx bits IIRC. Take the headlights out. There are 3 metric nuts/bolts that need to be taken off where the bumper connects to the front quarter panel; easiest accessed IMO through where the headlights were. Then there are the misc. screws on top of the bumper that connect to the radiator support. Not much to it really. All together there's only like a dozen nuts and bolts that need to be undone. The most PITA ones to remove will be the ones from the bumper to the 1/4 panel. Other than those, like I said, just undo any screw that attaches to the bumper somewhere. I did it without a book or pictures or instructions in about 20 minutes.
