Unhappy serious vibration

the steering wheel in my 04 sxt nearly shakes out of my hand. got new tires, had an alignment done and still vibrates like mad. it has done this since we got the car 5 months ago but not as bad. It has just gotten progressively worse. If you step on the gas it eases up a little but as soonas you let off the gas it starts in bad again. I feel like im chasing a ghost with this thing. someone please give me some advice

Providing the wheels and tires are balanced and are not bent or out of round, respectively, I'd start checking for the tightness of suspension components, axles nuts and so on. The main ones you'll want to look at besides the axle nuts, are outer tie rod ends and ball joints. Check your suspension components for wear as well.
