Default After replacing a dead battery my radio does not work.

Last week my battery officially past and when I put the new one in everything worked great with the exception of my radio. It's an aftermarket unit (pioneer or jvc I forget) and it worked great before the swap but now it won't even power on. have any ideas?

maybe some how it blew the fuse in the back of the unit? and thats why its not turning on? pull it out and see if your getting power to the unit then check the fuse on the unit itself

there's also a fuse in your fuse box in your car. It is usually a lower amperage than the one in the radio itself. I would check that fuse first.

To get at the radio you need to do this. 1.) remove the center air vents by just pulling on them. 2.) you will see two screws on the top side of the bezel. remove those with a Phillips screwdriver. 3.) now you should be able to just pull the entire bezel out. 4.) you will see 4 screws holding the radio in. remove those and you are golden. Hope this helps.

Wow that was easy, it took me about 5 minutes to get the head unit out. I checked the fuse on the radio and it was fine, I disconnected everything then plugged it back in and it worked. Thanks guys
