We didn't drive our neon for about 9 months and the battery had to be replaced. Now that we replaced it we cant get it to start. A friend suggested that we re-set the the computer but I don't know how to do that. When we start it it makes a buzzing sound. We checked to see it the dodge would give us a code and it wont. Any help?????

 

Having a dead battery will reset the computer alone. It makes a buzzing when you try to start it? Does it click at all? Just clarifying because it says "we cant get it to start" then "When we start it it makes a buzzing sound."

 

When we TRY to start it. Sorry. It only makes a buzzing sound. The engin doesnt turn at all.

 

Does the starter 'click' when you turn the key? If not the starter possibly froze up. Or it's not getting power.
