Default getting f-1 fenders, maybe.

alright, so im in talks with a guy from the .org

we're taliing about me buying his 00-02 f-1 fenders off him, but he says that they would need work to fit on my car?

he has an 05 and was told it would cost more than its worth to have them fit to his, so; would i have the same problem or will they bolt right on?

Here they are in all their glory.

So, you have a 2001 and he is saying the 2000-2002 fenders won't fit your car but they fit his 2005 with no problems. I call 'tard. You don't want them anyways...leave the fenders be, lol. :P

i do wantem though D:
my drivers fender is rusting, starting to rot a little. and he said that it wouldn't fit on his without a lot of work, and doesn't know if it would take the same work to make them fit on mine o.o
I checked ebay and they say nothing about extra modding req'd

Maybe because he was trying to put 00-02 fenders on an 05? I'm not sure how the whole fender thing works out between years, but if they were the same, I'd imagine they would be 00-05 fenders. Now the question is, did his "work" mess them up to where they wouldn't be a direct replacement for you anymore?

he didn't have anything done to them, he only got a quote on how much it would cost him to have them fit correctly;y, i guess it was too high and he passed on it.

They should fit just fine then based on the information; 2000-02 fenders for a 2001. Lesson learned for him I guess, buy the correct parts for your car, lol.

ahahaha hi5 darth.
hey i also had question regaurding a Tranny swap.

a co worker that claims to know cars said i could bolt on a same year tranny, or as he said more detailed

find the part number, or somethinf gor your motor, find a tranny, he used an 04 srt-4 tran as his example., and find a clutch that can be a medium for the two diff years?

is that do-able?

I can't quite follow the words. I get you want to switch transmissions. You want to go from say an auto to a manual?

There's a thread around here somewhere with a list of the parts needed. It might take a few searches, but it should be here somewhere. As for which transmission to get, no point in spending all of that money on an SRT4 one. Just get the regular one. It's like a T840 or T480 or something like that.
