Cruise control vacuum routing diagram
Hi everyone...new here, but been lurking.
I bought a 2000 Neon a few months back with only 92k miles, but with a broken timing belt. The engine was already half torn apart when I picked it up dirt cheap ($400
), but I had a spare motor on the engine stand that had only 85k miles to transplant in it. Problem is, the engine I had was not a cruise control car, and the hoses were already all disconnected on the car I bought so now I don't know where the vacuum lines, etc. connect for the cruise control.
If I'm waiting at a stop light and put the cruise on, the light comes on, but the minute I release the brake the light goes off. If I'm driving and put the cruise on, the light flashes briefly, then goes off. Since I'm starting a new job in a couple weeks that involves a 50 min commute, I'd like to get the cruise working. Any idea where I can find a diagram showing the cruise control system with vacuum routing, etc.?
Thanks in advance for any help.
