my ac works a bit then it freezes up and gets wet just left of the glove box anyone have a clue why its doing this seems to work great till its real hot outside

Is it low on the refrigerant? I don't know much about A/C systems...just a thought.

I was going to check that and when it freezes it wont even blow vent air

My SXT does the same thing. The AC seems to freeze up, then not blow any air...

where about is drain hose and mine is an sxt as well I just know soon its going to be retarded hot in my part of Texas soon

You don't need AC in Texas.... Just roll down a window.. LOL


The drain should be on the bottom with a angle toward the firewall where it drains if I'm correct. But then again I don't use my AC here in Texas.. well with this car at least.

If you mean it stops blowing I would think it's the blower motor going bad. I've had alot of problems with this neon but I have to admit the ac is the coldest I ever owned in a car and this is great because I'm in south fla !

Your hardcore man Spring is way more humid then New Braunfels I need my ac haha. My ac works fine for awhile then it wont blow, this only happens in the summer too its fine when its about 75 to 80 outside once it has to work it craps out on me
