The sides aren't the expensive ones to ship, Ms. Whatever, nor do you pay full shipping through the dealership (if you even pay at all). Unless you have an account set-up, like I'm sure most eBay sellers do, you get charged the full rate. As for the price of shipping an entire lip kit, that has got absolutely nothing to do with the price of the lip kit itself. I've seen lip kits go for $400 PLUS shipping, which is NOT cheap, contrary to your belief.

 

Like anyone is going to pay 400 bucks for a lip kit its not worth that much these days maybe when they 1st came out in 04 but not now when they dont even make neons anymore. Maybe 200bucks but thats still a bit steep . Like if I was going to sell mine it would be for 130bucks shipped and thats with the sides painted black. My point is if you wanna sell it your not going to get as much out of the whole kit as you really want so to sell it you have to lose some even with shipping. Or its going to sit in your garage forever.

 

Actually, it is worth that much these days for a mint kit. They don't make them anymore. When things are discontinued and a lot of people want them, the price goes up. Simple economics. I do believe that was his point though, preferring local pickup. These other people are asking him to ship it no matter the cost, so I don't see what the big deal is. You shouldn't have to eat the price because shipping is high so you can be "reasonable." Either way, if you decided to sell your entire kit for $130 shipped, let me know! That is an absolute steal.

 

No its not a steal I got it for a 130shipped and so have alot of others on other forums and cardomain. Never selling it keeping my sxt for a long time. Most of us got the whole lip kits when they were really cheap like 2yrs ago is when they were starting to be cheap.
