I know I read your post and you are posting you have codes related to the output speed sensor. maybe you put in a bad one.

the best place to get a shift solenoid is from the dealer. never buy an aftermarket one, you bound to have a bad one 3/4th the time.

a real scanner is the only way to go. you can even make money with one. see all the people posting: "whats wrong with my car..." own a scanner and they will flock to you to fix it. that = $$$$

I bought one from the parts warehouse my son works at because with his discount it was only $100. It was a Dorman brand. It worked just fine even though I dont think there was anything wrong with my stock one altho the shifts are much firmer now than before but that could have been cause of my filter getting clogged up over time as well. Even so the aftermarket one was fine.
I would have taken the new one out and taken it back but you cant buy just the gasket anywhere I found out so couldnt return it without a new gasket.

My son said if they even smelled or caught a glimpse of tranny fluid in it he'd get in trouble so Ill just chalk it up to lesson learned....

Yea I know you were and I thank you for the offer but I didnt realize it was a no return item once used (electrical) until i mentioned it to my son last night after your gasket comment.

So looks like I got a good used Mopar shift solenoid for sale less gasket..LOL

Default update

so I opened up the wiring harness and tested all the wires. replaced the output speed sensor with a dealer one because the autozone special was no good.still had the same problems but fixed the erratic speedo. then replaced the transmission shift solenoid. tranny is shifting great now minus a harsh downshift into first gear. It's not terrible but i have a feeling it will ruin the sprag eventually. gonna drive it for a few days and see how it does.
