I just wanted to give ya'll an update on the mods that I have made ever since I purchased my 04 red blaze neon. It was one of the last ones still at the showroom about 5 years ago. It had the sxt package. The car is 5 speed tranny. So here are all the mods that I have made:
srt4 springs and struts
srt4 rear and front sway bars
mopar front and rear lip kit
srt4 rear exhaust w/ dual chrome tips
31 in Thrush cherry bomb(this gave it a really nice sound and improved the power, especially in 3rd gear!)
Black eye lids from revolution
cuda side stripes from revolution
3 dimensional rear taillights from mopar
srt4 stock rims and tires
front plastic hood protector (gives it an interesting look)
Added a 6 cd changer to the stock cd radio
Upgraded all the interior speakers to pioneer speakers
Added 2 more gauges to the interior
Blue led lights on the speedometer
bright white lights in the rear view mirror lights
Colored some of the interior to match the outside paint
Chrome interior handles from a 2000 neon
Red paint on all the calipers(just like the srt4)
Dark window film
Dark eyebrow on the front windshield
Dodge neon window banner
Iridium spark plugs from modern

My next mods will be: short ram intake, booger bushings, side skirts, msd spark plugs, and install fog lights. I do also own a 04 srt4 too, that too I've been modding and thats a totally new story! thanks for reading!

 

Very nice list of mods you should post pics of your sxt and srt4 together would love to see them. Nice to have two neons both of two different worlds. How do the srt springs and struts do for your sxt and the sway bars.

 

I would put up some pixs but somehow the internet here that I work at seems not to cooperate. I'll look into it and hopefully I will. And the question about the suspension? It rides just like the srt4, actually the red neon is my wife's ride and the turbo is mine. I've been working on her ride and she's fallen in love with all the mods. She wants to keep it forever! So far it probably has close to 70,000 miles and mines got close to 60,000 miles. Sometimes we take both of them out on the road and mostly turn heads! There is another co-worker here at work that drives a srt4 too. So we might all get together and go for a cruise sometime. Have a great one!

 

Im with your wife I love everything my husband has done to my sxt and 1st gen neon when I had her. I asked how her sxt rode with the srt suspension I always wanted to know . I have the mopar springs on right now and hate it cause they dont give a regular neon a drop whatsoever. When you do put pics in this thread cant wait to see your srt4 and yours wifes sxt.
