My '05 Neon SXT has been having an intermittent code 0340 for a while now. I really haven't put much stock in it since it only happens when it's really damned hot outside. The other day I started getting the code 0325. Looking over the wiring diagram it appears that both the Camshaft Position Sensor and the Knock Sensor #1 are both linked into the Powertrain Control Module harness.

Some Googling indicated that 0325 and 0340 tend to go hand in hand, and to check the grounding points, and possibly add some more. Disconnected the battery and checked the ground points. Light is currently not on

I've suspected that the 0340 issue was a wiring thing for a while. Is replacing the wire harness the logical solution to this? How difficult of a task is harness replacement?

It takes some work but not that hard at all my husband just replaced my wiring harness to the camshaft sensor and the tranny sensor.
