I wanted to know if anybody could tell me if a new instrument cluster would make my speedometer work...right now, both speedometer and temp. gauge are not working. I threw a scan tool on it and it gave me P1687 (No cluster chrysler collision detection BUS message) !! and im lost...if anyone could help it would be greatly appriciated.

 

You need someone to pin out your powers, grounds and BUS ckts. That cluster is a lot of $$$ to just throw at it. Otherwise, take it out and wiggle the plugs behind it, unplug them and plug back in and slap on it a little and see of anything changes.

 

Thanks man, ill see what i can do....When you say pin out everything, do u mean make sure all connections are correct, have power, and have a good connection, or something else?
