Default oil pump

I have a 2000 plymouth neon and I am trying to figure out how to prime the oil pump while its on the car. If anyone has done this please I need help bad I do not want to take the timing off for the 7th time I greatly appreciate it.

Have you tried an oil pump priming tool (if they work on these pumps)?

you have to remember its a non distributor so I was wondering what tool and where would I plug it up at?

I had no idea how those tools worked (I was just tossing an idea out there). Hm. I'm at a loss. It should prime itself. Heck, I just replaced the oil pump in an engine with a distributor, fired it up and it's fine? Are you not getting any oil pressure?
