hey guys, i have a Dodge Sx 2.0 and, i have header, Magnaflow exhaust muffler, K&N CAI, my dad's truck mechanic said im atleast running 150 hp now, could that be true??? I got a Tsudo header, anybody hear of that? haha

You may get 140 to 145 hp from the engine, but 120 to 125 hp to the wheels maybe, a long shot but it depends on the exhaust, Cai are all mostly the same and add like 3 or 4 hp and headers add like 8 hp and a muffler like 3 or 4 hp depending on the single exit or dual exit, i read on allpar.com that single exit mufflers gain more hp than dual for neons, not sure in the truth but i believe it.

 

i have single tip, the muffler is straight out, muffler is not sideways anymore, from engine straight out (not talking about the S shaped piping LOL)

 

i have a 2004 sxt and i called the dealership to see what they have stock and he said 150hp stock

 

that dealership and guy you talked to dont know nothing. Most dealerships and sellers dont know nothing about the cars they are selling, they bs everthing and just tell you the obvious like the color, year model, engine size, and features, but no specs on engine, size of vehicle, etc. You cannot believe what they tell and do ur own research. Any sec generation Neon SXT has a base engine 2.0L 16 valve. The ACR and R/T have 150hp and the sxt has the same as a SE of 132hp and 130 torque. The SXT is just a sports package name.
