all the aftermarket tail lights are divided up into 00-02 and 03-05 but the tail lights gasket says 00-05. i recently went from chrome to black on my 02 SXT and i found a buyer for my old ones but he has an 03 RT. my question is will my 02 tail lights fit on his 03 or are they somehow significantly different where they wont work for him?

 

2000-2002 and 2003-2005 headlights and taillights are not interchangeable because the front and rear bumpers, respectively, are different. There is a reason the lights are divided up into those two different categories.
