Default Suspension Questions

Howdy yall,

As can be seen by this post things were a little crazy when my sister bought her car. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...t-new-sxt.html

As it turned out the head was bad and the dealership popped for replacing it (third party repair) . While the motor was torn apart she paid about $250 for replacement of the timing belt, water pump, cover, some bearings, and seals that as long as it was apart @ 70k, might as well do.

Over Thanksgiving she tells me that she does not like the car now and because it is to low to the ground. Unknown to me she tells me that it scrapes constantly pulling into her driveway.

I'm to understand that the circumference of the current wheel & tire combo can not be increased by much if at all because of interference with suspension components. I thought about a advising a coil over strut/spring combo that can be adjusted for higher ground clearance, but that seem an extreme fix to what should be a simple problem.

I would hate to see her sell the car because i believe for the money she has in it ($7000) she will not be able to find something in as good of shape.

What do you recommend to fix this situation?

Thank you in advance for your comments

Put a board at the bottom of the driveway to decrease the slope? I don't think besides actually lifting the car (I'm talking about what fools do to fit 26" wheels under cars), it is going to get much higher than it already is.

If the motor was already apart, it shoudn't have cost a whole lot to replace 'em.
