Flywheel???
So I ordered a clutch kit online and it said tht the flywheel was included, now to my knowledge a flywheel has teeth for which the starter uses to turn the flywheel and in turn starting the motor... I saw no such thing in the box, it was just the modular clutch and a release bearing.. so I asked them to contact me because I wanted to see what the deal was..
The gentleman tried to explain to me tht the flywheel was included and tht it was part of the modular clutch and that the flywheel I'm talking about is different and tht in essence there is actually 2 flywheels.. one on the modular clutch and one that is on the motor(the latter being the one with the teeth).. this sounds legit, but I just wanted to double check so I can have peace of mind that my money was well spent...
If in fact there is only one and it is the one with the teeth please let me know so that I may contact them again and try to straighten out this issue... the more information you can provide to me the better... Thanks...

thers only 1 flywheel I believe this guy is calling the clutch disc a flywheel. I'm thinking this is just a error in language/terms(symantics).
there are 2 types of clutches used on neons Modular and nonmodular.
heres a pic of the non modular http://i56.tinypic.com/2crod5g.jpg
im thinking the part marked as clutch disk is what the retailer is calling a 2nd flywheel.
now on the modular clutch the clitch disc is sealed within the Pressure plate assembly, but cut away looks the same as the pic above, you just cant take it all apart is the big difference
dont forget to mark clutch cover prior to removal so you put the new one in the same way, should only fit the dowels 1 way but never hurts to mark stuff
ohya and I hope the replacement clutch you bought is a LuK brand clutch, as you will not get the miles out most other aftermarket clutches If it aint a LuK I'd return it all together lol

it is a LuK and that's not what he said... he said that the modular clutch I received was the pressure plate, clutch disk, and flywheel... I know my neon has the modular clutch, here is the link to what I purchased and all i got was the modular clutch and a release bearing.. http://www.dial-a-clutch.com/Clutch_Kit_p/8264.htm
ok well i found the information that I needed.. I found diagram online that better explained my question the link is here: http://www.perfectionclutch.com/003_...ar_clutch.html and it says that the pressure plate is bolted to a flywheel with the clutch disk "captive" inside and already pre-aligned.. thanks anyway I hope this helps...
