Exclamation Newbie here...Neon behaving weirdly...PLEASE ADVISE

Hello All,

I am new to the forum and I so far I think it is great! Here is my problem: I recently replaced the fuse (15 amp on #15, interior panel) to get my dash lights and tail lights working again. For some reason, when I turn on the headlamps, my wipers start going. I then replaced the fuse for the wipers thinking that this may be the problem. This freaked me out as the Neon wipers are controlled by the opposite lever. I was wondering if this could be a computer issue and if so, can the computer be reset? TIA for all replies.

Bill

I haven't had a problem with mine, but I have read several stories... it's probably what they call the "MFS" or Multi Function Swich...which is the stalk sticking out of the steering column that controls all those things you mentioned...they are known to go bad on Neons

Bad MFS and/or melted wiring.
