Default What Does it Take to Upgrade to Factory Navigation Radio?

I'm looking at OEM navigation radios on eBay, and I wanted to see if anyone has installed one in their car. Apart from the radio itself, what additional requirements are there in terms of parts? Does the radio plug into the existing wiring harness terminations or are modifications necessary?

If someone actually has installed one of these radios I'd greatly appreciate some help. The car is a 2004 R/T.

Cheers!

I don't know that any Neon came with navi-radios. You be looking at a bit of fab work to make it fit and work.

Second Gen Neon's optionally had navigation. What I'm looking for is information from someone who has installed a nav radio in one of these cars. The reason I'm asking, is I'm buying a 2004 Neon R/T for a daily driver.

Cheers

I looked into it a bit more as I'd never heard of these radios for these cars...you need the radio (a new RB1) and the GPS antenna. Once you get those, it should be plug and play.
