Ok. For the last few days, I have been rushing around town alot as I was late for almost everything. Here is the dilemma. My car, actually seems different now. The accelerator is alot more touchy now meaning the response to my foot on the gas pedal brings out a more (jumpy) response from the motor. The tranny (auto) feels like the shift points are different too. If I put pressure on the gas while I am driving to get the tranny to shift at about 3k rpm's, she is at about 45 mph before shifting into fourth and about 50 before the lockup solenoid kicks in (where it kinda feels like a 5th gear). I also noticed that my mpg has dropped a little too. Now I get roughly 22 mpg in the city. No leaks from motor or tranny and no smoke or weird smell from exhaust. No codes and cooland temp seems normal. Any ideas? I am not compaining at all as I like this new found performance but I was wondering if something might be broke.

if i am correct these computers "learn" your driving style after around 50 miles or something like that. that's the only thing i can think of.

Yes, these cars adjust themselves to your driving style. Try driving "normal" for a bit and see what happens.
