-Then again, I did end up trashing three of the mostly bullet-proof T727s in my '74 RoadRunner. Guess I was just a little bit too rough!

Autos can handle more than most think I mean all my engine mods with the ecu reflashed makes an auto handle alot better.

A computer reflash doesn't make a transmission stronger. It may make it work better, but that's it.

I guess some autos are built stronger than others mines pretty strong with not having any trouble with my tranny ever and mine has almost 200,000 miles.

Yes. The stronger ones for the Neon are the ones before 2003-2005.

Well I must of gotten a really stong 04 auto tranny I guess wow she runs like brand new the tranny is awesome and with almost 200,000 miles on . My 96 neon was crap for a tranny had to put 2 in her and she was an auto . THe 99 r/t was a little better but nothing like my 04 now wow.

so whats the point in getting your ecu reflashed?

If there is newer software for the PCM, it'll make the car run better. It's a Dodge thing.

especially with engine mods and if you go turbo youll need your ecu reflashed to respond really well to what you have .
