foggy headlights

Default foggy headlights

ive had my 00 neon for about a year now n my headlights are startin to look really foggy on the outside. does anyone kno how to get that off???

pretty much. that or buy new headlights... Its really not that hard to wet sand them. my friend just did it on his avenger, and they look like brand new headlights now. its worth the work

no do not wet sand them......u will put fine scratches in the lense... you can buy the stuff in the store or get the kit i got on ebay which works great and is the right way to do it.

what comes with that kit is window cleaner, paint compound, and paint polish. those 3 things used in the proper step and with some rubbing takes fog off the lense. if you have the fog on the inside you might be able to get the lense off or otherwise its not fixable.

I also heard that toothpaste would work to, when used with a buffing wheel.

toothpaste works for scratches i dunno about fog...
