got an 03 neon sxt, planning on putting turbo and getting my exhaust soon, but i was wondering if dual would add more hp than a single?

 

I dont know if true dual is possible, I know single works quite well and y piping but ive never dove into a second gen my buddy had dual mufflers but Im not sure about his exhaust s/u.

 

I highly doubt its gonna help any HP gains goin dual over single, but itll look freakin sweet!

 

I don't think a true dual exhaust setup is possible. With that being said the only way to get a dual exhaust is to split the one pipe...like highrevr said. I doubt doing this will net you more power over a single exhaust.

 

I think he or she is meaning I assume single big muffler and dual like the r/t srt catback , borla, magnaflow,vibrant, any of those will do more for peformance than a big muffler.

 

i believe actual dual exhaust, not 2 tips, reduces the power, i remember a perfomance shop telling me it reduces the power on a four cylinder engine, 2 tips is good, but i believe have one tip, and changing the muffler to come straight out is probably the best..
