Default Different clutches

Hello to all, I am new to this forum. I've owned a 2000 Neon for 5 yrs and have put quite a few miles it. A few weeks ago the clutch cable stopped functioning correctly and had to be replaced and last week the clutch finally gave up the ghost. To my surprise, I've found out that depending on which plant the car was made in, there are different clutch part numbers relating to each. Worse yet, the price difference is about $80 at the local auto parts stores. Does it really make a difference which clutch is used? I also found a slightly used clutch from an '04 SR4 that was more economical, but I'm hesitant to put something in that might cause more problems down the line. Please help!!!

I see there's a lot of differences in the same year IDK what the differences are between the modular and sprung hub setups. Isn't it just crazy that Dodge parts don't fit dodge cars?
