Ok so I went to change my brake pads yesterday and ran into a rather large problem.....the top mounting bolt is stuck....I got the bottom one out no problem at all but the head on the top is pretty much non existint now from trying to un freeze it....I tried heating it with a torch and corrosion x and wd-40 but nothing would break it loose. Is there any way to get this thing out or should I just replace my calipers?
If you can't get the bolt out, how are you going to replace your calipers? Vice-grips? Try those after soaking the bolt heavily with PB Blaster for a couple of hours.
